Lazar has been involved within the community and charity from a young age, a lot of this was with thanks to his late mother who taught him the gift of helping others in need.
He is currently involved with the following charitable and non-profit organisations:

- UK & IRE Delegate to the assembly of Serbia
- Serbian Orthodox Church & Memorial Hall
Lifeline humanitarian organisation
Lifeline Humanitarian Organisation is an international effort founded in 1993 as an urgent response to the tragic situation in the former Yugoslavia, which was afflicted by conflict and sanctions. HRH Crown Princess Katherine has strived to obtain and channel help through Lifeline and has been an active patron ever since.
Lazar joined Lifeline as a board member in 2017.
Serbian Council of Great Britain
The Serbian Council of Great Britain (SCGB) is an independent, non-profit, and non-political organisation established to promote the interests of the Serbian community in Great Britain.
Lazar has been a board member since 2016.
UK & IRE Delegate to the diaspora assembly of Serbia
Lazar has been a UK & IRE Delegate to the diaspora assembly of Serbia since 2016.
Serbian orthodox church & memorial hall
The Serbian Orthodox Church & Memorial Hall in Corby was acquired in 1987 by the Serbian community in the United Kingdom. Lazar’s father served as the parish priest from 1976 to 2016 and was the rector of the newly built Serbian Orthodox Church.
Lazar has played a pivotal role over the years in the local community organising various fund raisers & call to actions. He also serves as a trustee.
